Antonia Wunnerlich, University College London

Antonia Wunnerlich is a student of Modern Languages (combination German and Russian) at University College London (UCL). Born in Brussels to Anglo-German parents, she completed her Baccalaureate at the European School of Brussels in 2015.

At UCL, she has been an active member of the UCL German Society committee, having been voted First Year Representative 2015-2016 and Summit Executive 2016-2017.  As Summit Executive, Antonia organised the UCL German Society’s Summit 2017 entitled ‘Crossroads: Anglo-German Relations in the Wake of the European Crisis’, a two-day platform for politicians, economists, academics and students to discuss the state and future of Anglo-German and European relations in the light of Brexit.

In June 2017, Antonia participated in the Young Königswinter Conference in Berlin with working groups focusing on the UK and EU in a post-Brexit Europe, on economic stability, and on safety and security. Antonia has also undertaken internships at the Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie (BDI) representation to the EU in Brussels and at the Karl Hofer Gesellschaft of the Universität der Künste in Berlin.
